Last nights prediction fails to come true! Flyers @ Penguins post-game analysis.

The match-up between  and  turned out not as we predicted. So why did the Penguins lose to the Flyers, although they were very close to take it to overtime (OT). But at the end Flyers celebrated a 3-2 victory on Penguin ice.


 Why did the Penguins lose:

1. Bad 1st period for Fluery.
2. Horrible performance on the Power Play 0 goals on 6 attempts.
3. Opposite to our prediction the Penguins didn't look well motivated, especially in the 1st period.
4. Pens couldn't quite figure out the Flyers young net-minder  Bobrovsky.

Why did the Flyers win:

1. Excellent performance by Giroux.
2. Great goal-tending by young Bobrovsky.
3. Strong Penalty killing.
4. Solid team work.
